Are you planning a return visit to watch the launch? If not, it is such an amazing thing to not just watch, but feel. The viewing stand is about a mile or so away and when it launches you can feel the heat from the rockets and the rumbling from the ground. I had the pleasure of being there for a launch once in 1992 as part of my Naval training. Exhilarating!!! I do try to watch from my bedroom window whenever possible (i.e. no cloud cover). My dad was on the Sunshine Skyway bridge in the Tampa Bay area when the Challenger exploded. He had seen so many launches at that point (from a distance) that he knew something was wrong when he saw the boosters try to separate. It was a sad day indeed!

Unfortunately we are not planning another trip to FL... I wish we could see a launch!
