SAL Christmas, Valerie's 4th part...I didn't stitch the buttons, I'm waiting to find cute little buttons to sew under the heart and snowflakes.


SAL Christmas, 4eme partie de Valerie...je n'ai pas brode les boutons, je voudrais trouver de beaux petits boutons a coudre.

Il y a 3 semaines, j'ai achete un amaryllis. Jusqu'a maintenant je n'ai jamais eu de chance avec cette plante, je crois avoir pourtant le pouce vert. Cette annee, nouvelle maison, beaucoup plus de lumiere du jour... j'ai voulu faire une nouvelle experience.
Voila ou en est ma plante apres 3 semaines... Je voulais quelle fleurisse pour la periode de Noel, je crois que j'aurrais des fleurs pour Thanksgiving (le 25 de ce mois).
Les paris sont ouvert....qui vote pour Avant Thanksgiving, pour Thansgiving, pour apres Thansgiving, pour Noel! Photo prise hier!

3 weeks ago I bougth an amaryllis. Until now, I was never succesfull and I actually gave up on that plant a while ago. This year, new house, new state, a lot of light in the house...I decided I wanted to give it another try.
This is my plant after 3 weeks.... I wanted it for Christmas time, I think it's going to flower for Thanksgiving.
Your bet...do you think it's going to flower before Thanksgiving, for Thanksgiving, after Thanksgiving, for Christmas! I took these pictures yesterday.

Je vous avais dit que j'en realiserais un autre de petit cousinet. C'est simplement trop rigolo a faire.
Est ce que quelqu'un serait interesse a faire un echange de cousinet comme celui ci avec moi? Un theme de Noel, hiver ou une couleur particuliere de votre choix...il faut me dire. ce n'est vraiment pas difficile et c'est tres rapide a realiser.

Encore le theme de l'automne. Un petit coussin qui m'a fait de l'oeil et qui a ete vite fait. Je l'ai peaufine avec des perles tout autour , un petit noeud et perle pour le centre.

Le tuto est la. Tiens, je vais en refaire un autre!Autumn theme again...This time I made a cute little cushion by folding fabric and some little sewing. When I discover the tuto I knew I was going to make it. It's not complicated and quickly done. I put beads all around, a bow and some beads in the middle.

C'est mon anniversaire!!!!!!

non....mon anniversaire c'est un juin, le meme jour que celui de Passionnee. Pour le plaisir, on echange un petit cadeau. Cette annee, Passionee est en retard...ca arrive a tout le monde, moi la premiere! Hier j'ai recu un beau paquet.... j'ai vraiment ete gatee! Grace a Passionnee j'ai decouvert Lynette Anderson (l'ange rouge) que je ne connaissais pas du tout. Mes deux cousins sont superbes et les petites gateries adorables.
Merci Isa, tu sais combien je suis heureuse! Merci!

It's my birthday!

no....my birthday is in June, the same day then Passionnee's birthday. Every year we send each other a little something. This year Passionnee is late...it happens to everybody, me included! Yeaterday I received a lovely package....she spoiled me! Because of Passionnee I discovered Lynette Anderson (the red angel). I didn't know this designer and it's beautiful. My cushion and pillow are beautiful and the little goodies are adorable. Thank you Isa, you know how happy am I! Thank you!

Un petit tout mignon pour l'automne...decidement je suis en forme. Il faut dire que jusqu'a maintenant je passais mes automnes a ramasser les feuilles. alors que cette annee, si peu de feuilles a ramasser que j'ai plein de temps pour broder.

Pour l'automne, un petit whimzi de Just Nan.Another little thing for fall! All the years I lived in PA, I barely had time or wanted to stitch fall design for the reason I was spending my days picking up leaves. So fall was not my favorite time. Now it's different, not many leaves to pick...in 2 hours I'm done...so I have time to stitch fall theme!!!! And all these fall colors are pretty, aren't they?

Halloween arrive!

Je ne brode pas pour Halloween mais cette annee j'ai trouve une petite grille sympa gratuite et j'avais besoin d'une deco...j'en ai besoin de plusieurs... mais on commence par celle la!
Un ruban noir fronce et un petit bouton comme finition, le coussinet est accroche!

I usually don't stitch for Halloween but this year I found a cute freebie and I needed a deco for the house...I need several...but I'll start with this one! I finished it with a small button and a ruffled ribon I made.

le mois dernier Nathalie soufflait ses bougies....pour l'occasion un petit souvenir fait pour elle. La boite doit faire 8 cm x 4 cm je crois. Et l'interieur renferme des tresors de brodeuse.

Floride

Le mois dernier un petit week end express en Floride. Mon mari traaillait sur un projet au Kennedy Space Center and la NASA organisait a ce moment la de sportes ouvertes pour leurs employes pour celebrer la dernier mission de la navette Discovery le 1 novembre. Nous etions donc invite! Nous avons passe un super week end. Visite de la salle de control, des batiments d'assemblage... et bien sur la navette sur son plan de decollage. Maintenant nous attendons le 1 novembre pour voir partir NOTRE navette!

Last month we went to Florida for a week end to be part of the NASA's open house organised for their employes. My husband was working on a project at the Kennedy Space Center then and we were invited. That was awesome. We had a blast! We visited mission control, the assembly building... and of course Discovery on its launching pad. Now we are waiting for November 1st, for the last trip of OUR shuttle Discovery!
