Before Starting stitching the SAL I wanted to stitch a little more of the :Sampler Nostalgie" from les Grilles de Maryse. I started stitching las spring but with the move and everything else I did not go too far. I worked on it the last past few weeks and it's progressing. I'll take a break while stitching the SAL Christmas but I just wanted to show it off. I think it looks great stitched in red (DMC 815).

J'ai commence le "Sampler Nostalgie" des Grilles de Maryse au printemps mais avec le demenagement et tout le reste je n'avais pas beaucoup avance. Je l'ai reprit depuis car je voulais l'avancer un peu avant d'entreprendre le SAL de Christmas. J'ai bien avance et je trouve qu'il est bien beau en rouge (DMC 815). Je fais faire une pause cependant pour broder le SAL Christmas...je peux pas tout faire!!!!

I'm ready...can't wait until October 1st for the SAL to start. My fabric and threads are ready.

So far, Tina from UK, Terry G, Quiltcat (are you stitching with us?) are part of the US group.
It's not too late to join us, the SAL starts October 1st and will be done at the end of November with 7 parts to stitch.

Colorado, nous voici!

Ca y est, nous y sommes...la maison est un peu installee (il y a encore des cartons...), les enfants sont retournes a l'ecole depuis 10 jours et je prends mes petites habitudes.

Colorado, here we are!

We have arrives...boxes are being opened little by little (I still have many boxes waiting...), kids went back to school 10 days ago and I get use to be here.

Near the house / pres de la maison

Le printemps nous a apporte des visiteurs. Mon fils a un nichoir a la fenetre de sa chambre et comme l'annee derniere nous avons eu des nassances. Quel beau spectable de voir la maman nourrir ses bebes. Le nichoir ne part pas avec nous dans le Colorado mais nous en installerons un nouveau.

Just like last year, we had baby birds at our house. My son has a bird nouse just outside his bedroom window and it is just too beautiful to see the bird fed the babies. It was a great show. The birdhouse will not come with us in CO, but we sure will put a new one outside someboy's window.

Ne croyez pas que je j'ai abandonne mon blog...non, non.

Simplement le court de la vie qui fait que certains evenements font que les loisirs passent apres tout le reste.
Probleme de sante tout d'abord, puis probleme de travail pour mon epoux qui nous force a demenager loin de la Pennsylvanie. Nous partons la semaine prochaine pour le Colorado! Inutile de vous dire que je n'ai pas brode depuis bien longtemps...ouin ouin!
Mais bon, le futur n'est plus sombre et nous sommes pret pour une nouvelle aventure!
Comme je dois laisser les deux emplois que j'avais, j'aurais surement un peu plus de temps pour broder et pour venir ici plus souvent.
Je vous montre 2 broderies que j'ai brode pendant l'hiver mais qui ne sont toujours pas encadrer. Il manque encore une phrase pour l'une d'elle. Il s'agit d'un sampler de Couleurs Croisees et de Jardin de Frises de Tournicoton que j'ai brode avec un fil Pomme de Pin.

Sometimes life through you some surprises that don't allow you to do what you would like to do.
First some health concern, but everything is fine now, then some troubles with my husband's job. His new job takes us to Colorado. We are moving next week!
I have to leave my 2 jobs ...I should have more time to stitch in CO!

Over the winter I stitched a Sampler from Couleurs Croisees and Jardin de Frises from Tournicoton. I used a Pomme de Pin's thread.

Je vous avais dit que les amies c'etaient chouette. En voici la preuve.
Elles m'ont toutes gatees avec des douceurs de France...et je dis bien toutes!!!!! des fraises tagada, des carambars, des petits gateaux, des caramels, du the, des calissons....ah le bonheur!
J'ai meme recu de la tartinade de cannelle de Nouvelle Ecosse qui a ete liquidee en quelques jours tout comme les calissons de Corinne! Meme pas eu le temps de faire une photo!
Pour accompagner les douceurs, des broderies raffinees et bien francaises.
Et puis mon amie Haidi d' Allemagne et pas brodeuse (si ca arrive ;) ) m'a envoye un beau calendrier avec des belles photos de la France.
Je vous remercie les filles. Vous m'avez fais un grand plaisir a moi et ma famille qui eux aussi apprecie ses bonnes choses!

My friends spoiled me with sweet things from France. Candies, cookies, caramels, tea, specialty from France such as calissons form Provence...it was just happiness to open these packages!
I also received cinnamon spread from Nova Scotia and the cutest ornament. Thanks Mady...I I forgot to take a picture!
Along with these sweet gifts, I received stiched gifts 100% french!!!
Haidi my German friend sent me a great calendar...with pictures of all the differentes aera of France. One region per month!
Now I'm homesick!!!! Thank you my friends! My family and I really appreciated!
