SAL Christmas...all done and finished! I decided to make a banner out of it. To give it a quilted effect, I restitched all the boxes of the pattern on some batting then sew the outside. I would have like to find a more wintery or Christmas hanger for it...no luck thus. So I picked a welcome one. I added some vintage lace all around for a more finished look. I still have time to enjoy it before Christmas.

Je voulais le finir en banniere. Je lui ai donne un effect quilte en rebrodant tous les cadres de la grille sur un morceau de ouatine. J'ai rajoute de la dentelle ancienne puis cousu l'entourage. Je vouais trouve un cintre un peu plus Noel ou hiver mais n'ayant trouve j'ai choisi ce welcome.
Tout est fini a temps afin de profiter de cette banniere avant Noel.

J'ai fini! J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir a broder cette grille.
Desormais je pense aux finitions et j'ai une petite idee.
Nous verrons une fois finit si je suis contente du resultat.

No computer since Friday...how did I survived!
Well...I stitched and baked... that's a way to survived!!!!
I had a left over of fresh cranberries and didn't know what to do with it until I find this yummy recipe on the web. Delish... Good thing I printed it few days earlier. A cranberry upside-down cake.
The next day I made brioche.... a recipe found in a couple month old issue of Cooking Light...Love this mag. It takes a while because of the rising but it definitely worth it, ask my kids!!!!! They had this buttery taste....a delight when dunked into a hot cocoa!!!
Finally I ended the weekend with 2 nice loaves of no knead crusty bread from King Arthur flour website. Very crusty just like I like bread with a fluffy inside.
Finally @ should collapse more often....I would have more fun in my kitchen!

Tout simplement en brodant et cuisinant!
J'avais un reste de cranberries dont je ne savais quoi faire. J'ai finalement fait ce gateau que je voulais faire depuis plusieurs jours. En un mot un gateau aux cranberries a l'envers.
Ce fut ensuite des petites brioches dont la recette vient du magazine Cooking Light. C'est un peu long a faire car il faut faire lever la pate mais....que c'etait bon, mes enfants vous en diraient que du bien. Une petite brioche trempee dans une tasse de chocolat chaud...c'est les papilles qui sont contentes!
Finalement j'ai fini pas faire du pain. En bonne francaise que je suit, j'adore le pain croustillant. Cela fait longtemps que je ne cherche plus de bon pain ici, c'est decourageant. Celui que j'ai fait hier...ce rapproche beaucoup de ce que j'aime....croustillant avec un interieur moelleux...J'etais ravie du resulats ainssi que toute la famille.
En fin de compte, l'ordinateur devrait rendre l'ame plus souvent pour que je retrouve ma cuisine et ses plaisirs.
Le prochain poste sera consacre a la broderie...;)

Un de mes petits coussinets est arrive a destination et j'en ai egalement recu un. Fiora a recu le mien et j'ai recu celui de Fiora...En plus du coussinet, Fiora a fait un etui a mouchoir qui a deja sa place dans mon sac et une jolie carte. Theme de l'hiver pour Fiora, theme de Noel pour moi. Merci Fiora.

One of the pincushion for the exchange has arrived at Fiora's house and I received hers the day after. Fiora also made a tissu holder that is already in my purse et a pretty Christmas card. Winter them for fiora, Christmas theme for me. Thank you Fiora.
