Ciseaux et Bobines by Jardin Prive.
This is the second SAL I was talking about the other day. This one was organized by Noelle
I stitched 1 over 1, hard for my eyes, but I love the result. I had the perfect box waiting for the finishing (it doesn't happen often), it was just waiting for the stitching to be done.

Have a great week and happy stitching

I was stitching 2 Jardin Prive SAL simultaneously....The first one is "Patchwork aux chats" I was stitching for my youngest daughter who is crazy about cats. Very nice and fun pattern to stitch. I was asked to finish it as a small pillow....here what I did. Some red fabric to bring out all the colors and a cute charm to add some contrast.
My second Jardin Prive (shown in my previous post) is done...yeah.
I will be working on the finishing soon....

Have a beautiful Sunday

My last post is from 2 months ago....wow....a little bit of stitching, a lot of gardening, some traveling and between, work ;) One of my last stitching post was about Jardin Prive's SAL "Ciseaux et Bobines".
I am way behind schedule but I am working on it. Here is the progress, I am getting there.
🌞Have a beautiful Sunday 🌸🌺🌹

I am really trying hard to not start several stitching projects at the same time and I was doing great for a while....and tada... my self control collapsed. I started a Jardin Prive SAL organized by a group of Jardin Prive's lovers. We are stitching Patchwork aux chats. Just fun to stitch.  This is going to be for my youngest daughter who LOVES cats and she picked the colors.
The other things are an other Jardin Prive and a Sajou/Marie Suarez chart....I will show you those later.

I joggle stitching and gardening now spring is here. I wanted to stitch something pink, girlish, romantic so I picked a chart I had in my drawer for a long time but never stitched. Lecon de Rose by Passion des Croix. Some special stitches (a lot of French knots...don't like those), cross stitch, back stitch and silk ribbon...everything matched my requirement :)
Here it is....

A cute exchange with some friends from the le Fil en Fete forum. Theme: Easter.
I picked a free chart I thought was so cute here.
I added pompoms for the tails of the bunnies and stitched Easter eggs and each side.
I included a handmade Easter card.
Those bunnies went to Chrisatinea

Could not wait to have this one framed.  Tada.....

Friday, March 04, 2016

I bought this chart during a show a while ago. I just needed more time to enjoy those special stitches. Well it is done and I LOVED it. Some much fun to stitched. Only special stitches, Gloriana silk, beads....a blast! It is the second chart I do from Keslyn's, www.Keslyns.com , the first one was a black and white heart.

My first Keslyn's

The second one

Here is something I finally framed. I thought a plain frame was enough for this stitching so we can appreciate the colors, special stitches and all the details of this piece.  It was SO much fun to stitch. It is a chart I bought one year at a show and would love to get another one but the designer (Something different) doesn't have a site. I am afraid a show might be the only way to find one.
Stitched on white congress cloth with Caron waterlillies and soie Cristale.

Something  different : Tile 3

Another beautiful Sablaise's chart finished. This one is called St Valentin. I added some spider stitch and bullion stitch as well as some old lace instead of stitched flowers. I am not too sure about the color green of the bow on top.
Now brain storming for how to finish it!

This one is for my daughter just because I love her.
The free chart is here.

Because it looks like that outside...
I started several projects.

First with few friends from Le fil en scene, we are doing a SAL mitaines (hands warmer). I picked my yarn but I don't have the right size circular needles....nothing done yet.

Then I started knitting socks on a sock loom. It is quite fun and it goes quite fast. I hard a little hard time to decide on the right size (number of pegs) so we will see if it will fit my daughters feet :)

Finally a couple of stitching projects. First, another lovely SAL by Sablaise this time for Valentine's day. If you would like to join it is not too late visit Sablaise's site. My choice of threads is DMC linen, green silk and regular cotton threads all on a gingham fabric I bought one day at of quilting/cross stitch show.I couldn't resist to add sone special stitched: spider stitch and bullion stitch.

Finally a last little thing I have started is a little surprise for my daughter. She loves cat, we do have one at home and this chart is for Valentine's day and about cat of course. Free chart is here...

The same daughter that loves cat swims in her high school team...tonight the girls have a team party before a big meet tomorrow....I was in charge of one desert....she will be bringing a Smore's brownies. Thanks Pinterest for the recipe. It does look great, will see what the girls think.
