Hier, temps moche, je ne travaillais pas, aussi j'en ai profite pour me faire une matinee finition. Je cogitais comment finir ma botte de Noel du SAL The Thread Basket / Jardin Prive. Le resultat, le voila en photo. Botte en cartonnage avec un croquet tout autour, mon petit noeud et le bouton en coeur (vous remarquerez qu'ils ont change de place depuis les dernieres photos), une attache en croquet pour accrocher ma botte ou je le veux.

Des tons un peu country, pour un Noel cosy.

Yesterday, the weather was so bad I decided to stay home and work on finishing my Stocking from The Thread Basket / Jardin Prive SAL. I have been thinking how I could finish it, you can see the result in pictures. I used cartonnage technique with a rick rack, a little bow and a heart button (have you noticed the bow and the button changed place since the last pictures), and a little hoop on top to hang my stocking where ever I want.

J'ai fini mon SAL Jardin Prive / The Thread Basket
J'ai decide d'y ajouter un petit noeud, j'ai eu du mal a trouve LA bonne couleur de ruban, et pour donner un effet plus uniforme, genre ne pas avoir ce noeud tout seul en bas, j'ai rajoute un bouton en coeur. Je ne suis pas sure si je vais garder le bouton. Je le trouve un poil trop gros... Je vais laisser comme cela et on verra ce que j'en pense dans 2 jours ;)
Je vais commencer a reflechir a la finition!!!!

I am done with part 4 of the Jardin Prive / The Thread Basket SAL. I decided to add a small bow (I love bows and I could put bows everywhere!!!!). I had a hard time to find THE right color. To give an more balanced effet I put a heart button. I thought the bow alone was lonely. I'm not sure if the button will stay thus. I think it's a bit too big. I am going to leave it like this, sleep on it and I'll see what I decide in 2 days :)

Halloween.... Poupounette etait une fille des annees 50 et Bibiche un nerd (desolee je n'ai pas ce mot a mon vocabulaire francais). Le gars etait un oeuf sur le plat mais il n'a pas voulu que je le prenne en photo...pourtant il a gagne le prix du costume le plus rigolo a la soiree de l'ecole vendredi!!!

Halloween...Poupounette (my little one) was a rock n roll girl and Bibiche (my oldest) was a nerd. Dude was a sunny side up egg but he didn't let me take his picture althoug he won the contest of the funniest costume at the Halloween dance at school!!!!

Petit detail important pour Halloween.... le deguisement!
Cette annee...qu'un seul costume a faire....ouin, les enfants grandissent definitivement!
Ma poupounette fut un paquet cadeau, un chef, une sorciere...cette annee elle sera.....ah mystere et boule de gomme jusqu'a demain soir trick or treat...

No Halloween without costume!
The children are growing up and this year I only had a costume to make!
My baby, hum it's a good thig she doesn't read this blog or she would be mad if she reads I'm calling her my baby in front of you guys..., well my baby doll was in the previous year a gift, a chef, a witch...this year she will be....hum I promised I will not tell until tomorrow!!!! Trick or treat!
I just give you a hint in picture....answer tomorrow...

Aujourd'hui c'etait la fete a l'ecole...pour celebrer Halloween.

J'etais attitree a apporter petits gateaux et cupcakes. Comme je ne peux pas apporter juste un paquet de gateaux tout simple ...voila a quoi j'ai passe ma matinee!
Un simple Oreo cookie est devenu Booreo! mes mini cupcakes avaient soit un petit tas d'os, des chauve souris ou un oeil histoire de garder une vision sur ce qui se passe dans la classe.
je me suis bien ammusee!

Today was the school Halloween party. My job was to bring cookies and cupcakes. I couldn't just bring boring cookies...so I decided to have fun, not that the kids would care but for my personal fun. A simple oreo became a Booreo and mu tniy cupcakes had either a bone pile, some bats or a single eye....boo! I had fun it's all that matters!!!!

Le grand jour approche...et je suis prete! J'ai choisi ma toile et mon fil.

November 1st is approching....and I'm ready! I have my fabric and my thread.
