Vide poche / deco bag

Un autre echange qui s'est termine et que j'ai beaucoup aime faire. Un echange de bourse vide poche. Le modele vient de chez Je Brode. Il fallait donc faire une bourse avec nos initiales.

Ma bourse est partie en Suisse chez BDL. Et j'ai recu de Christine. Souvenez vous, Christine m'avait envoye le plus adorable des pinkeep, un coeur tout en rose. En bien figurez vous que Christine etait aussi ma partenaire pour la bourse. Une jolie bourse assortie au pinkeep, c'est ce que j'ai recu. Quel bel ensemble. Merci Christine.

Merci merci.....An other exchange I want to show you. A deco bag exchange you can find on Je brode. We had to stitch our partner's initials. My bag traveled to Switzerland to BDL's house. I received mine from Christine. Remember the cutest pin keep I received from Christine a while back for a pin keep exchange. Well, Christine was my partner again for this exchange and she made a matching pouch / bag. It's so beautiful. Christine I'm just too happy! thank you.

Poubelle a fils / Scrap bag

Shenken avait organise un echange de poubelle a fils et j'ai avec plaisir participer. Ma poubelle est partie justement chez Shenken, et j'ai recu de Cocotte. J'ai brode a ma facon un petit bout de Primavera de Calendula pour cette poubelle avec une citrouille pique epingle assortie. Cocotte a brode des models gratuits du fils en scene.

Shenken organized a scrap bag exchange a while back. I sent my scrap bag to Shenken indeed and received one from Cocotte. I stitched a sampler of Calendula's Primavera(on sale -in english-on The Thread Basket. I made a pin keep to match. Cocotte stitched frees from Atelier fil en scene. Je vous ai montre la nouvelle addition dans la chambre de ma petite derniere avec la banniere.... je vais vous montrer a present quelques petites choses que j'ai fais pour elle au cours des ans et qui se trouvent dans sa chambre...avec en prime la peinture murale que certaines connaissent deja.
Le petit Faune que j'ai fait quand elle est nee, ainssi qu'un petit edredon motelonne avec broderie aux rubans et appliques en feutrine. Il y a aussi quelques Vera, et cet ABC tout au point lance que j'ai fait lorsque j'avais 20 ans. C'etait un cadeau d'anniversaire de la part de ma maman aujourd'hui disparue. Et puis a part la broderie, j'ai realise la peinture murale dans sa chambre a partir de la technique One Stroke de Donna Dewberry. Je ne sais pas peindre, il faut le savoir...mais cette technique est super!


I was proud to show you few days ago, the new banner made for my little girl's room. Today I'm going to show you the other little things I made for her through the years (6 to be exact). You are going to see stitching and painting as well with the mural painting I realized in her room.
I stitched the Little Faune when she was born and made the little comforter. The comforter is stitched with silk ribbons and has felt applique. Then I stitched a couple of Vera the Mouse. The big ABC is stitched with stem stitch and flat stitch. I stitched this piece when I was 20 years old. It was a birthday gift from my Mom. My Mom is not with us anymore and this ABC is very dear to me.
Finally, the mural painting I painted in her room when we moved in our new house few years ago. first, you can see the white picket fence painted with stencils, the the additional One Stroke painting. One Stroke is Donna Dewberry's technique. I don't know how to paint, but was able to do this mural with One Stroke!

J'ai eu ma periode swap. D'abord je me suis inscrite sur Swappons ou j'ai fait un ABC swap avec le mot Mon Atelier avec Amarys dans les tons de mauve pour moi. Puis chez les Lilootes, je me suis mise en pair avec Nienna pour un ABC entier dans les tons de roses, mauve, vert pale pour ma petite derniere.

Chaque experience a ete au top. Cherchez la bonne lettre, la bonne couleur, l'originalite de la finitions...cela me plait.

Mon Atelier a ete monte tout de suite, mais pour la Poupounette, il a fallut que je cogite comment presenter ces lettres. Pas beaucoup de murs pour accrocher quoi que ce soit car sous les toits, j'ai opte apres de nombreux mois, une banniere pour un pan de mur parfait.

J'ai du mal a choisir une lettre preferee dans l'ABC entier....elle sont toutes si originales. J'aime le D, H, P de Nienna. J'aime mon R tout en points speciaux ou mon Y en patch.
Il y en a encore un en concoction, cette fois un bleu fait avec mon amie Corinne.

A while back I discovered ABC swapping. First I signed up on Swappons, where I exchanged letters with Amarys to write Mon Atelier (my workshop). Amarys had half or the letters I had the others. We had to stitch 2 same letters in different colors, I chose purple. So I had to stitch one in purple for me, one in pink, Amarys's color. Mon Atelier has been put together and is in my workshop.

I loved this experience so I signed up for an other swap on Les Lilootes. this time Nienna and I chose to make the entire ABC in any techniques. It took me a while to put all the ABC together as my little one's room doesn't have too many usuable walls (the room is under the roof). I finally came up with the baner idea for a little wall near the window. The letters are all so original I wanted something simple. I don't with letter is my favorite...I love Nienna's D, H and P. i love my R all in special stitches or my Y in patch. One more is on its way...this time it will be blue but is not finish stitching yet.

Dernieres fleurs / Last blooms

L'ete s'en va, mais deux plantes tardivent sont en pleine fleurs. Mon Mandevillia et Beans Floweres eclorent sous le soleil. Cependant, les feuilles mortes nous rapellent a la triste realite, l'automne! Cela fait deja 3 semaines que je les ramasse et j'en ai jusqu'a Thanksgiving. Hum l'automne!!!!!!

Summer is fading althought two late bloomers are full of flowers and buds, Mandevillia and Beans Flowers. The flowers are gorgeous but leaves are falling down and it just a reminder fall is coming! I already been raking leaves for the last 3 weeks and I won't be done before Thanksgiving! i definitely have mixed feeling about fall!!!!!!!

Bijoux / Jewelry

Avant la rentree des classes ma grande Bibiche s'est lance dans les bijoux. Elle n'a pas fait grand chose a part choisir ces pendants et les mettre sur une cordelette. Nous avons installe les fermoirs ensemble et la voici avec une belle petite collection de colliers (qui me plaisent assez). Je lui empreinte le coeur assez souvent je l'avoue!!!!

Ma oldest daughter decided to get into jewelry. Before school starts again she chose some beads and string and put together some pieces of jewelry. She didn't really make anything but I like her choices of beads. We installed the hooks together and she has some nice necklaces. I like them quite a lot and I borrowed several time the heart. It's my favorite one!
