Un de mes petits coussinets est arrive a destination et j'en ai egalement recu un. Fiora a recu le mien et j'ai recu celui de Fiora...En plus du coussinet, Fiora a fait un etui a mouchoir qui a deja sa place dans mon sac et une jolie carte. Theme de l'hiver pour Fiora, theme de Noel pour moi. Merci Fiora.

One of the pincushion for the exchange has arrived at Fiora's house and I received hers the day after. Fiora also made a tissu holder that is already in my purse et a pretty Christmas card. Winter them for fiora, Christmas theme for me. Thank you Fiora.

We are almost done / C'est presque fini

I'm not done with my little pincushions... I made more for Christmas. The ones for the exchange are in the mail as we speak, traveling to Europe. These ones are just for fun.
The one with the gingerbread guy is for my oldest daughter. She liked t so much that it is hers now. The red Christmas one is for a friend in France and the green one...well I don't know yet!!!

Ma nouvelle lubie...ces petits coussinet que je vous avait deja montre. Ceux de l'echange voyagent a ce moment meme. Ceux la...ce sont des petits extras que j'ai fait pour le plaisir. Ma grande adore celui avec le bonhomme en pain d'epice aussi, il est a elle. Le rouge est pour une amie en france et le vert....ma foi, je ne sais pas encore.

Elisa's 2010 Christmas tree has arrived! It is cute as a button...in french we say cute as a heart (go see Elisa's blog and you'll know why I used this expression)

Ah Paris...ah la France...j'ai eu grand plaisir a broder cette jolie grille qui le temps de quelques croix m'a rapproche un peu de cette ville. Un fils Weeks Dye Works coloris "stone" pour la Tour Eiffel et un parme et un marron glace DMC pour le texte. Un ruban fronce pour le tour et des epingles perle tout simplement.

Ah Paris... ah France... I had such a blast stitching this chart. I was there in France when I was stitching the Eiffel Tower. I was there in Paris when stitching the city's famous places. I uses a Weeks Dye Works "stone" for the Eiffel Tower and DMC for the text (brown and dark purple). A fancy ruban all around and some pearl pins...that's all.

SAL Christmas, Valerie's 4th part...I didn't stitch the buttons, I'm waiting to find cute little buttons to sew under the heart and snowflakes.


SAL Christmas, 4eme partie de Valerie...je n'ai pas brode les boutons, je voudrais trouver de beaux petits boutons a coudre.

Il y a 3 semaines, j'ai achete un amaryllis. Jusqu'a maintenant je n'ai jamais eu de chance avec cette plante, je crois avoir pourtant le pouce vert. Cette annee, nouvelle maison, beaucoup plus de lumiere du jour... j'ai voulu faire une nouvelle experience.
Voila ou en est ma plante apres 3 semaines... Je voulais quelle fleurisse pour la periode de Noel, je crois que j'aurrais des fleurs pour Thanksgiving (le 25 de ce mois).
Les paris sont ouvert....qui vote pour Avant Thanksgiving, pour Thansgiving, pour apres Thansgiving, pour Noel! Photo prise hier!

3 weeks ago I bougth an amaryllis. Until now, I was never succesfull and I actually gave up on that plant a while ago. This year, new house, new state, a lot of light in the house...I decided I wanted to give it another try.
This is my plant after 3 weeks.... I wanted it for Christmas time, I think it's going to flower for Thanksgiving.
Your bet...do you think it's going to flower before Thanksgiving, for Thanksgiving, after Thanksgiving, for Christmas! I took these pictures yesterday.

Je vous avais dit que j'en realiserais un autre de petit cousinet. C'est simplement trop rigolo a faire.
Est ce que quelqu'un serait interesse a faire un echange de cousinet comme celui ci avec moi? Un theme de Noel, hiver ou une couleur particuliere de votre choix...il faut me dire. ce n'est vraiment pas difficile et c'est tres rapide a realiser.
