Les feuilles sont tombees, les feuilles sont ramasees, oublions les feuilles! Sauf que mes petits bras eux s'en souviennent! heureusement mes petits doigts sont epargnes de douleurs musculaires...alors ils ont un peu brodes.

Je ne sais pas ce qu'ils leur arrivent cependant...ils ne veulent pas finir un projet avant d'un commencer un autre...alors voila ce qu'ils ont fait, mais rien n'est temine! Il faudra donc que je revienne vous montrer ces trois differentes broderies!

The leaves fell down, the leaves have been picked, I don't want to think about leaves anymore! My harms and back remember the work out! My fingers it's an other story... no sore muscles in my fingers so they stitched a little but it seemed they couldn't finifh any things they were starting! So I end up with 3 unfisnished projects. Les enfants sont pret, ils esperent une bonne recolte de bonbons.... La petite est un cadeau, fait maison. Que ce fut dur de trouver LA boite a la bonne taille. Le moyen est un coussin peteur (je crois qu'on dit comme ca...un truc de farces et attrapes). C'est la premiere annee que je ne lui fait pas de costume. La grande...bah maman tu ne vas pas me prendre en photo, ca va pas! Elle sera donc toute en orange...comme une citrouille! Vous n'avez qu'a fermer les yeux et imaginez!The kids are ready, they hope for a good candy evening! The little one is a present. It was fun to make although the hardest was to find the right size box. It was always either too small or too small! The middle child is a woopie cushion! Boys!!!!! It's the firt year I am not making his costume! The oldest one said: oh mom, you are not going to take my picture...no way! So, she is dressed all in orange like a pumpkin...she bought one funky orange and black stipes tigh, oh boy!

It's Halloween. Les enfants attendent ce soir avec impatience. Moi j'ai eu juste le temps de finir ma Demoiselle d'Halloween de Tralala. J'avais beaucoup aime broder la gardienne de chats pour le salon et je voulais broder celui de saison. Chose faite juste a temps! Pour la gardienne de chat, j'ai utilise des fils teints et une toile naturelle, pour Halloween, j'ai pris des fils DMC et une toile marbree de Picture this plus.

It's Halloween! The kids can't barely wait to be tonight to go trick or treating. Meanwhile the costumes are ready for the school parade this afternoon and I'm done stitching Tralala's Demmoiselle d'Halloween. I stitched La Gardienne de chat for the Stitching Jubilee and I realy wanted to stitch the Halloween girl. I did it just on time! It looks so cute. For the cats one I used hand dyed threads and a flax color fabric. For Halloween, I used DMC threads and a fabric form Picture this plus.

Des ecueuils, il y en a de partout dans mon jardin. Hier, j'ai eu un visiteur a la fenetre! Etant dans la piece d'a cote, je me demande ce qu'il se passait dans la cuisine. J'ai cru que c'etait encore un oiseau qui s'etait prit la fenetre en plein poire comme ils en ont l'habitude. Au bout de plusieurs minutes, le bruit continuait, alors j'ai ete jete en oeil dans la cuisine....et voila qui j'ai trouve a la fenetre! Pas farouche le gars! En fois qu'il a commence a grimper sur les ecran de fenetre, alors la je me suis fachee tout rouge!

Ces photos d'ecureils ont etes prises hier, belles journee, frisquet mais beau. Plei de feuilles a ramasser et plein a tomber encore...et regarder les deux dernieres photos. C'est aujourd'hui....oui il neige depuis ce matin! Il fait zero, un vent terrible. Il fait bon d'etre a l'interieur.

C'est bien la premiere fois que je me souviens avoir de la neige avant Halloween....

La question que tout le monde se pose aujourdhui, est ce que le temps va s'ameliorer pour ce soir, pour le match de baseball entre les Phillies et Tampa Bay. C'est la grande finale. GO PHILLIES!

I got a visitors yesterday. We got plenty of squirrels here, but yesterday one decided to say hello at my kitchen's window. I was wondering what was that noise. I was in another room and thougth a bird flew into the window again. They are good at that. My windows must me extra clean!!! haha!

Well, it was not a bird but this squirrel, not scared of anything. He kept climbing and climbing until I chased him away.

These pictures were taken yesterday. It was a nice sunny day. Plenty of leaves to pick up and even more to drop... And this morning....surprise....it's snowing! We have a nasty weather. It's nice to be inside and I feel lucky to have a warm house.

Now the big question ...is the weather going to clear up for the Phillies game tonight?

Gwen m'avait gentillement brode une enveloppe a ma demande, afin de decorer mon stand pendant mon salon. Elle a brode un modele de C mon Monde, c'est le matin.

Pour la remercier, je viens de lui envoyer un coussinet en points speciaux, elle les adore, brode en 1/1. Ce modele est un free que j'ai trouve sur le web, je ne sais plus ou...

Before the Stitching Jubilee, I asked Gwen if she could make a mail art for The Thread Basket so I could display it on my booth. She stitched a C mon Monde design, c'est le matin. The mail art have been looked at a lot, ladies wouldn't believe it traveled from France.

To thank Gwen, I stitched a small pillow 1 thread over 1 (at least 3 inches each side) with special stitches. Gwen loves special stitches. This design is a free I found on the web somewhere...don't remember where thus!

Encore un biscornu. Celui la etait pour Tina. J'ai brode une grille de Ravanelle qu'elle a offert sur son blog. Je voulais faire quelque chose de romantique, raffine, un peu precieux, du beau quoi!
Voila le resultat....un plaisir a brode, un plaisir a finir, un pincement de coeur au moment de le poster. Je l'adore! Et vous?

More biscornu. This one was for Tina. I stitched a free offered on Ravanelle's blog. Visit her blog, it is such a lovely blog. I wanted to make something precious and pretty. Something beautiful!

This is what I made... very nice to stitch, fun to put together and decorate. I was sad to let it go. I love this biscornu.

Vous etes pretes pour des biscornus...Voici d'abord un echange biscornus entre Arthemise, Jean et moi meme. Arthemise m'a envoye le plus ravissant des biscornus. Elle a brode un modele tres raffine et delicat et y a inclus le plus petit des coussinets a scisseaux que j'ai jamais vu. Arthemise, un grand merci!

J'ai donc recu d'Arthemise et je devais envoye mon biscornu a Jean a Singapour. J'ai choisi une grille de Frimousse pour faire un biscornu un peu plus grand que la taille normale ainssi il peut etre utiliser un pique epingle.

Modele Rosas brode avec coton blanc DMC et rubans de soie Vikky Clayton. J'ai eu le plaisir de rencontrer Vikky pendant le salon, une fille tres sympathique et dynamique, passionee par ce qu'elle fait. Je ne vous parle meme pas de ses soies....un regal pour les yeyx de voir toutes ces couleurs.

For the Stitching Jubilee, I stitched 2 Atalie charts. These designs are so nice to stitch with special stitches, ribbons embroidery.

First Shiraz with white DMC and Neddle Necessity.

Then Rosas with whote DMC and Vikky Clayton's silk ribbons.

I was very happy to meet Vikky during the Jubilee. Her booth was near mine. Vikky is just so passionnate about what she does. The silk display was happiness for the eyes and fingers!!!!

On continue dans les ouvrages pour mon salon ensuite on passe a autre chose. J'ai realsie la trousse verte et rose de Rouge Antique. Tres agreable a broder, le montage et decoration est ensuite libre court a votre imagination et gout.

J'ai termine la mienne avec des accessoires bordeaux, simples et sobres. J'ai decore mes petites boites avec des roses bordeaux. Notez la boite en forme me coeur pour acceuillir le de. La boite n'est pas inclu avec la grille, mais peux se trouver dans des boutiques de loisirs creatifs.

This trousse is a Rouge Antique's chart "trousse rose et verte" for sale at www.thethreadbasket.com . I had fun stitching it and a blast finishing it. The color and decoration's colors are up to you. I chose wine color for all the accessories, little roses for the little boxes, felt for the pin and needle hearts. Have you noticed the heart chape box on the right. This is to put away your timble. How cute. The box is not included with the chart but you can find it at any craft store.

Je vais commencer par les ouvrages realises pour mon salon de debut octobre. Salon qui c'est tres bien passe pour un premier. Je suis prete a recommencer :)

Mady a eu la gentillesse de me broder 2 modeles. Je n'avais qu'a faire les finitions. Voici le plateau monochromme de Maryse en rouge. Puis une grille de Bleu de Soie, la maison du bonheur monte en coussin.

Here I am! After more then a month, I'm back with plenty of pictures to show you. Let's starts with a couple of things my friend Mady was kind enough to stitch for me, so I could have more finished project to decorate my booth at the Stitching Jubilee, early October. By the way, the Jubilee was a great experience. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet some of my readers or/and my customers. I'm ready for next year!!!

Mady stitched Maryse's Plateau monochromme in red. It looks pretty in red and white, isn't it. The second design is from Bleu de Soie, La maison du bonheur, that I finished as a pillow.

J'ai plein de choses a vous montrer, mais je ne peux point....et je ne sais pas quand je pourrais d'ailleurs. La grande fille avait emporte l'appareil en vacances avec elle, il est revenu mais en mauvaise sante, l'appareil hein! Nous en avons un deuxieme, que nous avions gagne a la fete de l'ecole au printemps mais les photos ne se telechargent pas sur mon pc....grrrr...j'ai tout essaye!
Donc pas de photos, pas d'articles, un blog sans photos c'est pas rigolo....j'en profite pour faire la marmotte dans mon coin paume. Je suis assez occupee, donc je reapparaitrais au printemps....non avant, je rigole!

I have so many things I want to show you and I can't. I don't even know when I'll be able to. My lovely daughter took the camera with her to go to summer camp. Ok, I let her take it. The camera came back but it was not working anymore! We have a second one that we won at the school carnival last spring. The school organizes a carnival every year with basket to win. You buy some tickets, put them in the baskets you like, they draw a name....and we won the mystery box: a very nice digital camera! But, I can't download the pictures onto my pc!!!!
No pictures, no posts... a cross stitching blog without pictures...no sense! So, I'm going to hibernate, I know it's only September! I'm quite busy right now, so I'm taking a break and I'll come back at springtime! Just kidding....hopefully it will be way before springtime.

Hier, j'ai pris mon petit dejeuner dehors. A ce moment la, 2 colibris ont decider de parader autour des fleurs. Un, de couleur verte, avait une preference pour les fleurs a cote de moi. L'autre, avec un poitrail rouge preferait la mangeoire a colibri un peu plus loin. Ce fut un spectacle superbe que de voir ces deux petites oiseaux voler autour de moi. Ils sont si petits et rapides. Toujours pas d'APN, mais.... j'avais pris en photo au debut de l'ete un colibri a la mangeoire. Je n'ai jamais vraiment reussi a prendre de bonnes photos avec mon petit appareil. Ils sont rapides et bougent beaucoup. Il faut regardez a droite de la grande mangeoire rouge. Je vais essayer de de prendre une meilleure photo avant la fin de l'ete!Yesterday, I had breakfast outside. It's when I was sipping my tea that 2 hummingbirds started to show up around me. One, greenish loves the flowers next to me. The other one, with a red chest chose the hummingbird feeder near by. It was wonderful to see those 2 birds flying around me, going from flowers to flowers. It was like I wasn't there. They are so small and fast, they are amazing. I still don't have my camera, but, early summer I had a chance to take a rather good picture of the red chest hummingbird (the best so far with my little camera). Not easy to take good pictures of these guys. Look at the right of the big feeder. I'm going to work on getting a much better pic!

Je peux tout de meme vous montrer un cadeau d'anniversaire de la part d'Isa (Isa m'a gentillement prete ses photos). Nous partageons toute les deux le meme anniversaire. Cette annee nous avons fait un petit echange de cadeau histoire de marquer le coup. Son cadeau a mis plus d'un mois pour me parvenir mais il est arrive, c'est le principal. Et vraiment j'aurais ete tres triste de ne pas l'avoir entre les mains. Isa a brode pour moi ce joli coussin a ciseaux, un mouton de SB avec son joli chapeau. Il est si fin aux couleurs douces. Isa merci pour ce joli cadeau, je suis trop contente.I can't share many pictures with you as my big girl took the camera with her to camp. So let's wait until she comes home in few weeks ;)

I still can show you what a late birthday present I received from Isa. Isa and I share the same birthday. This year we surprised each other with little gift. You can see what I made for her in the July archives. This gift took forever to reach me. But it's here and it's what matters. Isa shared her pictures with me so you can see what she stitched for me. She did a lovely scissor fob with a SB's chart. This little sheep is adorable with its cute hat. The colors are soft, the stitching delicate....I love it. Isa thank you so much...
