2 bibs I made for the french baby girl, baby #1. My first time making bibs....it was fun.
I realize they are not as practical than some but I couldn't stop myself to put a bow on the poke o dot one.
More baby craft on the way ....

 Happy Thanksgiving to all

In a couple of days  it is Thanksgiving and it is time to prepare Christmas. I have made few things for a secret Santa exchange in the USA and a Christmas exchange in France. I can't show anything yet concerning the French exchange 😊 I will share some pictures of the Secret Santa in few days.

Meanwhile for those who celebrate Christmas,

Donuts anyone?
We are ready for Halloween. I just finished my daughter's costume, she will be a box of donuts. I couldn't find enough "donuts" to fill the box so I added a cup of coffee and some napkins at the bottom to get the effect of fullness.
I made a box with poster boards and the donuts are bath sponges. I cut a hole in the muddle, cut some felt for the icing and added some sprinkles, yarn,  pompoms, beads and other things I had for the topping. I had so much fun putting this together.
Trick or treat!

A new small pillow for my cat lover daughter. This time it's a JBW design. I wish I could have used a non variegated thread as the details of the details don't pop up as much as I wanted. I had fun matching the fabrics to make this project.
The cat pillow collection is growing
Have a great week end.

Small pillow...Practicing my new sewing skills :)

I can now share my pictures of the Summer challenge organized by Jura Point de Croix. We had the summer to stitch and do the finishing of one or all the charts given to us. I decided to do 2 different things. The sheep was lovely to stitch with some simple special stitches. I use an oval hoop for the sheep and a metal plaque as support for the houses stitching. I couldn't find a small sheep to embellish so I made my own with small pompom.
To see all the entries of the summer challenge, visit Jura Point de Croix's website. Some finishing are stunning.

Also....the charts are available to everyone now just in case you decide to stitch one or all!

Happy Fall :)
I was waiting fall to harvest my pumpkins I grew in my garden. They will decorate the front porch. They are so fun to grow, I try to grow some every year.

And since now it is fall, this is the first fall stitching I had finished. JBW chart stitched with Week Dye Work thread. I was never truly happy of my sewing finishing when doing cushions. So I decided to get better and experiment (thanks to Pinterest ;)). I loved it and since, I made several small cushion finishing I will show you soon. Fun, fun, fun....

I did some cleaning recently and I found this tiny biscornu...it could be a Z, it could be a N!
Tiny and cute...

One of my older project I didn't share before... Jardin Prive's SAL organized few years back.
Hard to find a way to finish it because of its long shape. I finally find a pre framed canvas in the painting department of my craft shop and just had to embellish. Looking sharp :)

Last April I shared a cute stitching I have done.
No inspiration for the finishing but I really wanted to do something with it as I love it very much. So yesterday I finally decided to do something with it. Nothing original or out of this world, just something to really have the pink and ribbon stitching pop up. I think the black really works. Had a hard time to make the hedges of the stitching straight thus....
Happy hump day :)

I can't share my current stitching....so I am going to show you some of my "older" projects...until I can reveal what I am stitching right now. Let's start with one of my favorite designer "Jardin Prive" and one of the letter serie she designed. Letter C....for my youngest daughter. The one who loves cats....and yes C is for chat or cat in English. It does work in both languages.
Have a beautiful day... and I will show you more things soon as I have to wait until october to show you my current project :)

Ciseaux et Bobines by Jardin Prive.
This is the second SAL I was talking about the other day. This one was organized by Noelle
I stitched 1 over 1, hard for my eyes, but I love the result. I had the perfect box waiting for the finishing (it doesn't happen often), it was just waiting for the stitching to be done.

Have a great week and happy stitching
